Honey Glazed Carrots

INGREDIENTS

1 pound baby carrots ▢3 tablespoons unsalted butter ▢2 tablespoons honey ▢1 tablespoon lemon juice ▢2 teaspoons garlic salt (with parsley flakes) ▢fresh ground black pepper ▢parsley, dried

STEP-1

Add several cups of water to a pot (enough water to cover the carrots by 1-2 inches).

Sprinkle with garlic salt and bring to a boil on MEDIUM-HIGH heat.

Add carrots and cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until fork tender.

STEP-4

Drain the water from the pot. Add butter, honey, lemon juice, pepper, and garlic salt. Cook on LOW for 5-7 minutes or until carrots are coated with glaze.

Add more salt and pepper to taste and garnish with dried parsley.
