▢1 ball of pizza dough, homemade or store-bought ▢2 teaspoons olive oil ▢1 teaspoon minced garlic ▢¾ cup marinated artichokes, chopped ▢8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese ▢1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese ▢fresh basil, sliced
STEP-1
Preheat the oven to 500°F with a baking stone or overturned cookie sheet inside.
STEP-2
Spread the pizza dough out into a large circle on a piece of parchment sprinkled with cornmeal.
STEP-3
Spread the olive oil over the top of the pizza dough, then sprinkle the minced garlic and chopped artichokes over the top.
STEP-4
Top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
STEP-5
Use a pizza peel or thin cutting board to transfer the pizza to the preheated baking stone. Bake for 9-11 minutes, until the crust is lightly browned and the cheese is hot and bubbling. Sprinkle with sliced basil, and serve immediately.
